Usage

By using PeonAI products, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You agree to use our products lawfully and not for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use our products. By using our products, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

API Keys

You are responsible for your own API keys. PeonAI products act as interfaces to third-party AI providers. We are not responsible for charges incurred through your API usage. You must comply with the terms of service of any third-party AI provider you use through our products.

For PortalPilot in particular, you are responsible for reviewing any AI-produced workflow summary, requirement extraction, deadline interpretation, or suggested next step before acting on it. The product helps organize complex pages; it does not replace your own judgment or due diligence.

User Responsibilities for Content

You are solely responsible for:

• The content you select as input for AI processing.
• The AI-generated output you choose to publish or distribute.
• Ensuring your use does not infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy, appropriateness, and legal compliance before publishing.

You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, misleading, biased, or potentially infringing.
• Using AI to rewrite or paraphrase others' content does not necessarily eliminate copyright concerns.
• PeonAI is not liable for any claims, damages, or penalties arising from your use of AI-generated content.
• Some jurisdictions have specific regulations regarding AI-generated content disclosure; compliance is your responsibility.

Intellectual Property

Our Property: PeonAI, Repurpose, Side-by-Side Translator, YouTube Bookmarker, PortalPilot, and all associated trademarks, logos, and software are the intellectual property of PeonAI. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer our products.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any content you create using our products. However, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of AI-generated content complies with applicable laws, third-party rights, and the terms of your AI provider.

AI-Generated Content: Content produced through AI providers is subject to those providers' terms of service regarding output ownership. We make no claims over AI-generated content and provide no guarantees regarding its originality or copyright status.

Subscriptions & Refunds

Paid plans are billed through Creem. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us and we'll sort it out.

License Keys

License keys are for personal use and may be activated on a limited number of devices. Sharing or reselling license keys is not permitted.

PortalPilot paid features apply to the project workflow layer, including project workspaces, multi-page rollups, readiness views, conflict watch, grouped timelines, project checklist, and project brief export. Single-page analysis and other free-tier capabilities remain available under the product's free plan.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our products at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business.

Upon termination:

• Your license key will be deactivated.
• You will not be entitled to a refund for any remaining subscription period, except as required by applicable law.
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, Indemnification, and Governing Law) will survive.

Disclaimer

PeonAI products are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content may contain errors — always review before publishing.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PeonAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of our products.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or our products shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PeonAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of our products; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you generate, publish, or distribute using our products.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our products shall be resolved through friendly negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the jurisdiction where PeonAI is located.

Before initiating any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@peonai.net to attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our products after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PeonAI regarding your use of our products, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
